I believe each season we must be very cleaver regarding what are the items we buy, no one is rich enough to buy everything... I mean, you can't afford to buy everything that's on your wish list. It’s better to be a wise shopper and select iconic items of -that- particular season (that for me, go from 5 to 10) and mix them with the ‘basics’ of your closet. Thank God (and globalization, of course) we have a lot of brands on the market that offer 'similar' pieces that go hand by hand with the international trends... they follow the same line with a different price range and quality (of course! that's the point).... the good news is that you can buy iconic items of the season no matter what your budget is. Well, I guess this isn’t a very ‘holiday like’ outfit (except for the red flowers in my blouse and the sparkling loafers ¿? LOL). This outfit it’s quite comfortable and I really like the effect the high waisted trousers give, -plus- they are very flattering to short girls like myself because they make you look taller and they give you a tiny waist.
