Obsession: a persistent preoccupation, idea, or feeling. Hi, my name is Gina and I am an obsessive person, in all aspects (and also compulsive! a wonderful combo don’t you think ?) To be an obsessive person has become something I love and hate about my personality (yes, all at the same time); it has made me do and say things I deeply regret, but also has made me achieve things I never thought would happen. I consider myself a very determined person, I do not rest (literally) until I get something I want ... I think, on one hand it’s a positive ‘quality’ but sometimes it can blind you to the point of being stubborn and foolish, there is a fine line between achieving goals and loosing your mind into something nonsense. Obsessions are responsible of hours of anguish and frustration, non-sleep nights, but at the same time they are great engines to achieve things. What’s your personal meaning of happiness? To get, to have, to do? or all three together... for me, happiness is a state of pea...
Flaming Red
Tested and proven: Clothing, shoes and accessories have a positive (or negative) effect on us... the right outfit makes us feel invincible, right? Many times it's because of the color, the tailoring or flattering shape, or just because it makes us feel happy... it generates positive feelings on our mood and in consequence we feel great! the lesson here is quite simple: do not leave your house without feeling spectacular, believe me, it’s life changing. With love, Gina PS. If you are not a morning person (as myself) and you tend to be stressed and in a hurry every morning you can prepare your outfit the night before, it’s a great way to avoid anxiety and ravage.

Swarovski: The SS14 Collection And My Interview With Nathalie Colin
Everything started last September, when I was invited to Swarovski offices in Paris to take a look at the Spring/Summer 2014 Collection: a stunning building located on one of the must iconic and luxurious streets of Paris, Saint Honoré. I had the chance to take a close look to the pieces, try them on and even do a shooting with them, remember ? Well, the cherry on the top was to meet and interview Nathalie Colin , Creative Director of Swarovski; she is an amazing woman with an incredible personality, the sweetest smile and an unbreakable spirt! plus, she is a shoe lover (as myself) so we clicked immediately and had the best of times talking. Nathalie, recently started with a new blog called Wink by Nathalie Colin , an amazing place were she shares her daily life. On this post I’m sharing exclusive pictures of the SS14 jewelry collection and runway pieces Swarovski created for the season. I hope you enjoy the interview I made her: Can you tell me a little bit about you...
MFW: Fifth Day
Sadly, my sunny days in Milan are over... and now that I am in Paris (and it rains all day)I miss them a lot, but let's be honest ... Paris looks beautiful even when it’s raining. Here is the next-to-last look I used for MFW... another favorite, btw! Especially the shoes ... Do you remember that six months ago when I was at Fendi’s show in Milan I told you that I fell deeply in love with them? Well, I found them in New York and almost cried with excitement when I saw them at the window display. In this post I will share two of my basic beauty products that have accompanied me since the beginning of the fashion month... my Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick (in different shades, of course) and the Phenomen'Eyes mascara that I am using for my lower lashes and has proven to be great, the brush is wonderful: high-precision for perfectly separated lashes. Follow my adventures in Paris on my twitter and instagram account (@ high_onfashion)! With love, Gina Tristemente, m...
