Yesterday we visited ‘Av. Paulista’ and the JK mall (for a temporary exhibition of the Gucci Museum, I will prepare a post about it, it was very cool!); So we walked around this iconic avenue, I love Brazil and all it’s colors! reminds me of Mexico. We took a break at the Trianon Park and visited 'Casa das Rosas'. Definitely my favorite part of the tour was the mural done by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, a portrait of Oscar Niemeyer -as a tribute to his work and memory- in support of culture; The mural is 52 meters high, and it’s inspired by Niemeyer’s love for concrete, his architectural works and Le Corbusier, it’s amazing! Linhameyer
The talented Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer , who died in 2012 at 105 years old, is the engine and inspiration of the collection by H.Stern -Oscar Niemeyer- that emphasizes organic shapes and uneven, loose, free and flowing lines; Despite his advanced age, Niemeryer was involved in the process of the creation of this collection and he approved the pieces of jewelry created in his honor, that were based on his sketches and curved lines. Inspiration comes from the lines and 'unpretentious contours ' curves as a natural solution, the basis for his architectural work, and now for these beautiful pieces of jewelry; simple lines, interspersed with empty spaces. H.Stern is a Brazilian jewelry brand with amazing and modern pieces that combine the best of both worlds, the alliance was natural to make a tribute to one of the most influential men in international modern architecture. In this post I'm wearing some pieces from the collection... With love, Gina El talentoso a...
