NYFW: 'Re See' Michael Kors SS14
My 'top six' MK SS14 looks.. Michael Kors surprised us in a (positive way, of course) during his latest presentation at the New York Fashion Week last September. A couple of weeks ago, I told you I attended an exclusive press conference with the designer a day before his SS14 show , then I went the show and afterwards I to the headquarters to ‘re see’ the collection and visit the showroom. In this post I'm sharing a couple of pictures I took during my visit, plus my 'top six' runway looks. At the press conference, Kors told us that he will take aside the sensual vibe of the brand to go along with a more romantic mood ‘... for this collection I wanted something very romantic, I think that when the weather turns warmer we all walk into a spring/summer romance... 'Re See' Rolando Santana FW13
I had the chance to visit Rolando’s Santana Showroom during my stay in New York City (lucky me, huh!). To be honest, I was eager to give a close look to his collection because I attended his show (I also attend it on September for his SS13 collection) and I left with a great feeling... his FW13 collection was very down to earth, wearable and coherent. Rolando, is a detail oriented designer, you just have to hold one of his pieces to notice the clear obsession he has for them... he uses high quality materials with impeccable tailoring. I will define his FW13 collection as timeless, feminine and elegant.... iridescence jackets, emerald and purple fur coats and vests, paired with cheerful prints and vibrant colors such as electric blue and tangerine; I love the mixture of colors we will see next fall!
