C hristian Cota Fall Winter 2012 Collection is breath taking. The show took place in the Standard Hotel located in one of the most hip a cool neighborhoods in NYC: The Meatpacking District.  Seventeen looks were displayed, all of them recreating the story of an American girl that gets lost in Mexico and in her way through this country, she fells in love with the culture. Rich textures, deep colors, fur and exceptional handcrafted embroideries from Mexican artisans are the highlights of this collection.  I really enjoyed this show, everything was very coherent and synchronized, the colored pieces and the mixture of fur and embroideries are my favorite part. I also liked (a lot actually) the make up and hair; natural an yet trendy. All the pieces are very wearable but with distinctive touches that make them one of a kind.
