Recently, I've been receiving mails and comments asking me about how often I buy clothes and shoes, actually I don’t buy clothing that often as you might think. Regarding shoes it’s different because as you know I have a severe addiction to them. I've stated before on previous posts that I like to buy quality pieces that I know I can use for several years. For example, I bought this skirt like two years ago and the blouse like three years ago (on sale! btw) I like to take care of my clothing (and shoes) and mix them in different ways so that they look different every time. Sometimes I get a little bit crazy and take everything out of the closet and I start putting things together until they look good, most of the times the result is very positive... try it, I assure you, you will enjoy it. Mixin' It Up
You know I love mixing prints and textures. The Tibi skirt is one of my favorite items for the warm days of spring at the city, the pattern is -kind of- baroque but at the same time it’s a piece that's really easy to mix and match with many basics from my closet. I´m also wearing my new "Pensée" pink stilettos which are part of the collection of twenty models Christian Louboutin released for the 20 th anniversary of his brand. Expect a “shoe of the week” about these two because they definitely deserve a whole post -only- for them. We shot these pictures at Patio 77 the first eco friendly bed and breakfast in Mexico City. It’s a gorgeous place with eight modern suites under the roof of a 19 th century grand house.
