I really enjoy mixing bright colors -like purple- with neutrals. They spice up the whole outfit! And what about the amazing Prada bag? It's part of an all handmade collection, made in India in small artesanal workshops. The bags are manufactured on wooden moulds, which are also handmade, using a centuries-old weaving technique. Last week I was invited to a brunch with Macario Jimenez (a very famous and talented Mexican designer). The idea was to take a close look to his SS 2012 collection "Avant Garde", to have the opportunity to chat with him and to discuss the ideas and perspectives of his collection. It was a lovely morning were we were able to really get involved with the collection, talk to the designer and be pampered with delicious food and wine. A live photo shoot was also happening as part of the event. We all participated behind the scenes of the pictures that will be used for the season campaign. It was very nice to be involved in the whole process. Macario was very attentive and talkative with all the guests; he was also very aware and took care of all the details regarding the models and how they wore his designs.
