This week I had the opportunity to meet the famous Fashion Director of Marie Claire and Project Runway judge: Nina Garcia . She came all the way from New York to Mexico City to support the Help Trough Fashion  event that will be held during the first two weeks of June. Nina talked to us about her experience in the fashion world and kindly answered all of our questions. She told us the importance of expressing ourselves through fashion and to have fun with it. She also talked about her latin heritage and how she has used it as a distinctive characteristic rather than an obstacle in her career.  The Help Through Fashion event will be supporting the UDIA Foundation , in order to obtain funds for different non-profit organizations to help needy or sick children and young people from Mexico.  It’s very easy to contribute, you only have to buy pre-paid HTF cards and use them in approved stores and an important percentage of your purchase will be donated to the cause.
