I think one of the wisest advice I've been given in terms of ‘clothing and smart investments’ was four years ago when I took my degree in Image Consulting... my teacher told us: 'No matter what your profession is, invest in a tailored suit, also invest in adjusting your clothes so they fit properly' If you think about it, it’s quite logical because although clothes come in different -generic- sizes, not all of us have the same body proportions, we might be de same ‘size’ but our bodies are different and unique, therefore clothes might not fit as expected, they should be properly adjusted and customized. I looked for a tailor and asked him to make me three different suits; navy, black and gray, it was an excellent decision, I don’t wear formal clothes everyday but sometimes it’s necessary; now I have six basic -timeless- pieces that will last for ever (as long as I don’t gain a lot of weight, of course... let’s hope not ha!).
