Reem Acra Fall 2012
Reem Acra’s show was one of my favorites, it took my breath away. I really enjoyed the mixture of leather and sequins. The see through dresses are lovely. Somehow the designer manages to tailor sexy and elegant dresses, which in my point of view this isn’t easy to accomplish. The night gowns are just a piece of art.
The hair and makeup was natural and trendy. I'm actually practicing the porcelain - glowy- look on myself; I think this type of “natural“ makeup will be the next big thing this year's summer and winter... I’ve seen it in almost all of the runways. I added some close up pictures so you can clearly look at the slight shimmer on the model's faces, it looks gorgeous and flattering.
Reem Acra, always designs great red carpet dresses, but this season she just blew everyone away. There’s no single dress in the collection that I disliked. I think every girl should have a dress from this designer... or at least a look a like; they are statement dresses that glow by themselves but at the same time can make anyone look amazing. The color palette is exorbitant but yet very wearable.
I felt very lucky to be able to attend this show; it was candy for my eyes.
El desfile de Reem Acra fue uno de mis favoritos, simplemente me dejó sin aliento. Me encantó la mezcla de piel con lentejuelas. Los vestidos con transparencias son realmente bonitos, de alguna forma la diseñadora logró crear piezas que fueran sexys pero al mismo tiempo elegantes; desde mi punto de vista es difícil balancear ambas características. Los vestidos de noche son verdaderas obras de arte.
Los peinados y el maquillaje fueron naturales pero al mismo tiempo modernos; de hecho yo estoy practicando el terminado tipo porcelana para la piel con ese toque luminoso, creo que este estilo de maquillaje será muy popular a lo largo de las dos temporadas de este año...lo he visto en la mayoría de las pasarelas. Quise añadir ciertas fotos de close up para que pudieran apreciar el brillo sutil, creo que es muy halagador.
Reem Acra siempre diseña vestidos asombrosos que son usados por celebridades en las alfombras rojas, pero este año dejo a todos con la boca abierta. No hay un solo vestido de esta colección que me disguste. Creo que toda mujer debe tener un vestido de esta diseñadora... o al menos, uno que se parezca mucho; son vestidos que emiten una declaración ya que tienen cierto encanto por si mismos, pero al mismo tiempo te hacen lucir espectacular. La paleta de color es versátil pero al mismo tiempo usable. Los dorados me fascinaron
Me sentí muy afortunada por tener la oportunidad de asistir a este show, fue muy placentero.
