Backstage: Helmut Lang Fall13

I’ll start this post by telling you that one of my favorite brands (ever) is Helmut Lang, the truth is that if I could, I would daily dress with their pieces. When I was confirmed for the backstage I almost pass out.

Here are some of the pictures from the backstage; The ‘lead artist’ in charge of the makeup look was Hannah Murray for Nars Cosmetics. The look was all about creamy, polished, gorgeous skin, (as seen in many other runways) a very ‘nude’ look but with glowy and smooth skin, with strength coming from the eyebrows and shades in golden tones. The blush used in the look it's -actually- one of my favorites from Nars, it’s called Orgasm.

From the collection I can tell you that I loved it! (obviously) The designers Nicola and Michael Colovos got the inspiration from the “Picasso Black and White” exhibition, the final result is a collection of clear silhouettes, with clean and structured lines (as usual), very ready to wear, urban and classy. The prints and graphics have a futuristic touch, as well as some of the coats. These designers allways mix textures to create great lines on a perfect way, it’s something I will allways feature from the brand. The color palette: grey, silver, black, white, electric blue (as seen on many other fall13 runways) and mustard.

I was very lucky to see the backstage of the show.

With love,
