My Sephora Beauty Obsessions
I wanted to share with you my favorite beauty products.... those I use every day as part of my beauty routine (that btw it's long... I mean, on trips with my friends I’m the first one to take a shower and the last one to be ready... LOL, I guess I like to take my time) So, here are some of my daily basics, you can all find them at Sephora. I’ll make a series of post talking about my beauty obsessions in different categories, I hope you enjoy this new ‘section’.
I have straight hair, so it’s difficult for me to add texture, yet have a natural appearance... So, I found this ‘spray’ that helps me add volume (and messy texture) to the roots and make my waves last longer.
2. Express Nail Polish Remover: Sephora.
I like to paint my nail and try the nail lacquers the brands send me... therefore I paint them like three or four times a week. I bought this Nail Polish Remover several years ago in the United States, when you couldn't find Sephora stores in Mexico...I fell in love with it the minute I tried it... it’s easy to use, is not messy, and it removes any color in no time at all.
3. Shower Gel: Sephora
My favorite scents are mango and chocolate, but be careful to shower with an empty stomach, the smell is delicious... it's inevitable to be a little bit hungry afterwards :)
4. Dry Sculpting Pomade: Oscar Blandi
More texture for my hair! This pomade is great to give the final touches to my hairstyle, it’s great to give a undone look or make a 'crazy hair' style; the key is to use a small amount of product on the tip of your fingers and play with it to add movement.
5. Matte Lipstick: Hourglass
My obsession to find lipsticks continues, I found this one as an advice of my beloved blogger and friend Guapologa. The matte texture is great, plus it has a long wearing formula that stays on longer. I have almost all the colors!
6. Florabotanica: Balenciaga
I love Balenciaga! This fragrance smells delicious... plus, it lasts all day. I love it!
7. High Definition Powder: Make Up Forever
An amazing product... A-ma-zing! one of my top picks, EVER. No matter what foundation I use, this powder sets the foundation and matifies the skin... it matches all skin tones and it’s great to give a porcelain look to the skin.
8. Photo Finish Primer: Smashbox
My days usually start at 9am (sometimes even earlier, when I have shooting) and end at 11 or 12 at night (if I had a party or cocktail to attend) so this primer helps my foundation last longer so it’s easier to have a quick retouch, plus it takes out the redness and makes my skin look pretty in pictures.

Muchas veces me preguntan cuáles son mi productos de belleza favoritos, esos que utilizo a diario en mi ‘rutina’ de belleza (que por cierto es larga, en los viajes de amigas siempre soy la primera en bañarme y la última en estar lista... todo mal) Pues aquí están algunos de mis básicos, todos los encuentran en Sephora ya sea en México o en cualquier otra parte del mundo. Haré una serie de posts hablando de más productos belleza en categorías específicas, haber qué les parece.
1. Uplifting Root Blast: Bamboo
Tengo el pelo súper lacio, así que intenté todas las opciones para darle textura a mi cabello y al mismo tiempo lograr que se viera natural. Este ‘spray’ me ayuda a dar volumen en la raiz (para que se vea más alborotado) y a mantener mi cabello ondulado y con textura.
2. Express Nail Polish Remover: Sephora
Creo que me pinto las uñas como tres veces a la semana... me gusta cambiar el tono de mi barniz y probar los que me regalan las marcas. Conocí este removedor hace varios años en Estados Unidos, cuando Sephora todavía no llegaba a México...iba y literal me traía como cinco frascos para guardarlos en stock, así que cuando llegó a México, yo era la más feliz. Desde el principio me encantó; es una maravilla, no te ensucias y es muy fácil y rápido despintarte las uñas.
3. Shower Gel: Sephora
Normalmente me baño con jabón líquido... Sephora tiene una gran variedad de aromas, mis favoritos son mango y chocolate ¡aguas con bañarse con el estómago vacío! Si huele demasiado (y delicioso...) tanto, que logra abrir el apetito :)
4. Dry Sculpting Pomade: Oscar Blandi
¡Más textura para mi cabello lacio! es una pomada que me ayuda a darle los toques finales a mi peinado... ya sea que me haya hecho ondas o que me lo haya dejado lacio y solo lo quiera despeinar un poco; como pelo de loca básicamente. La clave es usar poquito producto en la yema de los dedos y jugar con el cabello para darle movimiento.
5. Matte Lipstick: Hourglass
Mi obsesión por encontrar lipsticks sigue, este fue una recomendación de mi adorada amiga y blogger Guapologa. Sinceramente me gusta mucho la textura mate que tiene, además de una durabilidad bastante aceptable, tengo casi de todos los tonos.
6. Florabotanica: Balenciaga
¡Amo Balenciaga! Su perfume huele delicioso y tiene un excelente fijador... Dos palabras: me encanta.
7. High Definition Powder: Make Up Forever
Una maravilla, una ma-ra-vi-lla...me encanta este polvo, no importa la base que utilice el terminado que deja en la piel es de porcelana, además no es pesado, puede ser utilizado en cualquier tono de pie y sirve para neutralizar el brillo de la zona T (otro plus es que en las fotos siempre se ve impecable la piel).
8. Photo Finish Primer: Smashbox
Mi día comienza normalmente a las nueve de la mañana (a veces antes, cuando tengo llamado para shooting por ejemplo) y termina a las 11 o 12 de la noche (si tuve alguna fiesta o cóctel). Este primer ayuda a que la base me dure todo el día y que únicamente me retoque el maquillaje con un poquito de polvo y blush... También me ayuda a neutralizar lo rojo de la piel y contribuye a que mi piel se vea linda en las fotos.
