My 'Top Five' Face And Body Scrubs
I love to scrub my skin! It makes me feel clean LOL... (I think I need to go to the shrink too...) I know that it’s a good idea to scrub your skin once or twice a week to help it get rid of dead cells... and bring your best and brightest skin to the surface! besides, moisturizers and serums tend to penetrate better. Here are my top five:
1. Volcanic Ash Exfoliator by MAC Cosmetics
I bought it like three weeks ago and I’m just loving it. It leaves my 'face skin' soft and bright, it smells great plus I love to see my face covered with a black mask hahaha.
2. Velvet Hand Scrub by Sephora
The best hand scrub I've ever tested... the texture is great, because it has an oily base that leaves a great sensation. I use it twice a week because it helps me maintain my mani. I also use hand cream two or three times a day.
3. Smoothing Body Scrub by Victoria’s Secret
We all know Victoria’s Secret products smell delicious (they are almost addictive!) I love this scrub because it smells great, plus ‘the sugar’ doesn’t scratch the skin. I normally use it once a week in the shower with wet skin.
4. Sugar Lip Polish by Fresh
I know few women polish their lips, I use a lot of lipstick so I know the importance of doing it... lipstick 'runs' better because you remove the dry, dead skin covering the lips so they look moist. This sugar lip polish is my favourite.
5. Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub by The Body Shop
Wearing high heels or sandals tend to damage your feet: I use both a lot and I don’t have time to run to the salon every week to have a pedi done, so I scrub my feet twice a week and use a special ‘super’ hydrating foot cream to pamper my feet. This foot scrub smells delicious (it’s like being at the spa) and leaves a great fresh sensation.

¡Me encanta exfoliarme! creo que psicologicamente me hace sentir más limpia... (ok, creo que tengo que ir al psiquiatra) con el paso del tiempo me he dado cuenta que es algo bueno para la piel si se hace una o dos veces por semana: te ayuda a remover las células muertas, la piel queda deli y los productos que me aplico en mi rutina de belleza (como hidratantes y sueros) tienden a penetrar mejor. Aquí les presento los cinco exfoliantes que uso:
1. Volcanic Ash Exfoliator de MAC Cosmetics
Lo acabo de probar y me gustó mucho. Deja la piel del rostro muy tersa, tiene un olor agradable y me divierte ver mi cara toda negra hahaha.
2. Velvet Hand Scrub de Sephora
Es el mejor exfoliante de manos que he probado... tiene una textura muy peculiar que es excelente a base de aceites. Las manos me las exfolio dos veces por semana, me ayuda a que el manicure me dure más. También me pongo crema dos o tres veces al día.
3. Smoothing Body Scrub de Victoria’s Secret
Quien haya probado los productos de Victoria’s Secret sabe que todo huele delicioso (es un poco adictivo de hecho), este no es la excepción y además la consistencia es buenísima para exfoliar todo el cuerpo. Normalmente yo lo hago una vez por semana, dentro de la regadera y con la piel un poco húmeda.
4. Sugar Lip Polish de Fresh
Se por mis amigas que poca gente se exfolia los labios, sin embargo yo que me pinto mucho la boca se la importancia de retirar las células muertas, el lipstick se ve mejor. El este lip polish es mi consentido.
5. Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub de The Body Shop
Usar sandalias y tacones de manera frecuente, lastima los pies: yo como uso mucho ambos y no tengo tiempo para hacerme pedicure de manera frecuente lo que hago es exfoliarme los pies dos veces por semana e hidratarlos muy bien (hay cremas especiales para pies que tienen una consistencia más densa). My favorito es este scrub de pies de The Body Shop (huele a menta, delicioso) deja la piel súper linda además deja una sensación muy fresca.
