Last week I told you I was going to Playa del Carmen for the weekend; The Tommy Hilfiger team invited me to enjoy a couple of days at the beach, the idea was to relax, party and have fun. The event’s motto was ‘gone surfing’: this phrase was created to make reference to ‘escape’ from your daily routine to go surfing, or in my case (because I don’t know how to surf...of course) to enjoy the sun and the beach... to unwind, and enjoy!
On Saturday Night a big party was hosted at the ‘Canibal’ beach club, the place was decorated with surfing motives in a 60’s mood, the scenery was amazing!
A live band played Surfin' USA and other songs that made everyone dance, we had a blast!

La semana pasada les conté que me iba a Playa del Carmen unos días porque la marca Tommy Hilfiger me había invitado a disfrutar de un fin de semana de fiesta: Tres días de total relax, playa, fiesta y diversión. La idea general del evento era: ‘gone surfing’ haciendo referencia a darse una ‘escapadita’ de la rutina diaria para ir a surfear, o para los que no sabemos a disfrutar del sol, la arena y la playa.
El Sábado por la noche la marca hizo una gran fiesta en el club de playa 'Canibal', toda la decoración era alusiva al tema de Surf, con un mood muy de los años 60's... ¡increíble!
La verdad la pasamos muy bien, hubo una banda en vivo que cantó canciones memorables como ‘Surfin' USA’... todos los invitados bailando felices; la fiesta duró hasta las dos de la mañana ¡siempre es un gusto asistir a este tipo de fiestas! y bailar descalza a altas horas de la noche ;)
