The Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2012 women’s collection is inspired by the preppy sporting life reconsidered with city sophistication; the whole collection has an equestrian mood mixed with city chic. The show was last Sunday, at an amazing location in Park Avenue resembling a park in autumn. A listers, celebrities and fashion leaders were at the show. For the first time in my life I saw Anna Wintour. I was speechless... she has a very strong presence. For a moment I even thought that if she saw me I would become an ice cube or a rock. The gorgeous Uma Thurman also attended the show. The palette used was pretty similar to the one in the men’s collection : camel, burgundy, navy and olive. Versatility with classic pieces is the key, using A-line mod shapes in rich colors and fabrics. The coat was the most popular item, (as you know I’m a -coat kind of girl- so I loved that), plus the colorful boots and the awesome gloves. We saw some long silk dresses which I really enjoyed....
