I’m finally back home! Happy, tired and feeling grateful with all of you that always have time to read my posts and follow me on my twitter and Instagram accounts, you always manage to cheer me up and show me your affection, it means the world to me! So thank you for your love and support. It was an incredible month, I got the chance to visit some of my favorite cities such as New York, Milan and Paris, to be backstage and at shows was -as always- a great experience (it’s great to be able to do what I love, that’s the best part, I feel so happy and blessed), I had the chance to meet amazing people and to hang out with friends, to see and meet some of my favorite editors, photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists etc, that I deeply admire and respect was the cherry on the top. Here it’s the last look I wore for Fashion Week Paris, but I will continue sharing many posts with you, I have a lot of information to show you :) With love, Gina ¡De vuelta en mi casa! Contenta, ...

NYFW: Fifth Day
I promise I will not complain about the 'New York' weather anymore... ok I will, but just a bit and mainly to tell you that yesterday the weather was horrible... we had a misty rain that made everyone crazy (traffic and drivers included). To take this pictures was a real triumph... actually, that’s why Lincoln Center looks empty. The final result is good because the subtle fog gives the pictures a sense of romanticism; I'm not a romantic, but who cares when the pictures look nice ;) Today I’m not 'that' busy, but that doesn’t mean my day isn’t interesting: in the afternoon I have a 'Meet & Greet' with the famous designer Tory Burch and at night I will attend Rolando Santana's show a -talented- mexican designer... and, just like that fashion week is almost over, only two more days left; that makes me sad because although I’m literally dying (of cold, hunger and my feet are swollen) I’m super happy to have this opportunity, to live this experience, go...
Red
The day I wore this skirt, people asked me if I was going to a party, and well, not really... It was a “regular” day at the office. In theory everyday should be special, right? Well, this experience made me think about how many times we buy something and then “store” it in our closets waiting for THAT special occasion to wear it (...when I loose a couple of pounds, when I have a party, when I have a date... etc) and then, we have a bunch of stuff hanging there (even with tags on) and we don’t use those great pieces because we are afraid of wearing them out. Clothes and shoes are meant to be used, and I like to feel pretty everyday and being “all dolled up” puts me in a good mood. It’s like when we save our feelings because we are afraid to be rejected, because it isn’t “the right” moment or because we might be out of place... and then, when we finally speak out -sometimes- it’s too late. This skirt makes me feel like a princess, even on mondays. With love, Gina El día que us...
