Givenchy Couture Experience: The Runway
As I told you on the previous post, Givenchy invited me as part of the jury of the Givenchy Couture Experience Contest. The final runway was last thursday were the ten finalists presented their creations with Le Rouge as inspiration. The event was held in Mexico City at San Ildefonso.
Now, you are probably wondering who are the other members of the jury...

Journalist and director of Winner Magazine and TV host in Fashion Files.

Director of the Mexican model agency Prototype.

Professional photographer with 20 years of experience (the favorite of many actresses and celebrities)
And me...
It was a wonderful experience... I enjoyed it a lot; it was a challenge to select the winners. We were able to see the pieces on the runway and then ‘re see’ them to take a close look to the details, the tailoring and if they were developed according to the original sketch.

Como les platicaba en el post pasado Givenchy me eligió como parte del jurado del concurso: Givenchy Couture Experience. La pasarela final, en donde los diez finalistas expondrían el vestido que crearon tomando como inspiración Le Rouge fue el jueves de la semana pasada en San Ildefonso, en la Ciudad de México.

La verdad fue una experiencia increíble en todos los aspectos... fue un reto elegir a los tres finalistas aunque prácticamente a todos los miembros del jurado nos gustaron casi los mismos, pero ¡claro que hubo debate acalorado! Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver los diseños en pasarela y después analizarlos de cerca para evaluar su confección, patronaje y apego al boceto original.
