What to buy? and when to buy it? Two key questions I’ve been writing about lately; on several posts I’ve commented about my theory about smart shopping vs panic shopping (it’s ‘easy to write about it but the truth is that's very hard to resist the temptation), investing in basic -high quality- items that you can easily mix with ‘seasonal’ ones.
A good example is this -outfit- post where I’m wearing a Forever 21 ‘floral’ dress ideal for the winter season (actually it’s the only new piece of this outfit) a win- win becaue it can also work -great- for Spring and Summer due to the print and silhouette; mixed with one of my favorites coats, that yes it was ‘expensive’ but the truth is that it’s a high quality, versatile and that works for me all year long, paired with my boots that were an investment but they are worth every penny (I have used them a million times, literally). It is important to make a deep analysis and ask yourself what, when and where are you buying? think about it...

Sigo con el tema de compras inteligentes ¿Qué comprar y cuándo comprarlo? Se piensa sencillo pero no lo es (y más difícil es resistirse), en varios posts he comentado el punto de compras inteligentes vs compras de pánico así como invertir en buenos básicos a temporales que puedas mezclar con prendas de temporada. Otra arista del tema es definir para qué situación/ocasión y propósito estoy adquiriendo cierta pieza.... siento que este tema da para una tesis doctoral ja, bueno no tanto pero si es un tema basto que tiene muchas repercusiones emocionales, profesionales y financieras
Un buen ejemplo es este post en donde llevo un vestido de Forever 21 de la temporada (la única prenda nueva de este atuendo), con un estampado y silueta que además puede funcionar muy bien -también- en primavera y verano, mezclado con uno de mis abrigos favoritos que sí, me costo un poco ‘caro’ pero la verdad es que es una pieza de buena calidad, versátil y que me funciona todo el año, y mis botas que igual fueron una inversión pero les he sacado un ‘jugo’ impresionante. Es importante hacer un análisis de conciencia y preguntarse ¿Qué compro? y ¿Cuándo lo compro? y ¿En dónde lo compro? y ¿Para qué lo compro? ahí está la clave.

Un look perfecto! Las botas son súper chic, de hecho muero por unas! Y me encanta la idea de mezclar high and low end, así expandes tu guardarropa y no te cuesta mucho actualizar por piezas muy en tendencia, por eso me encanta F21!
