A dream come true is the FW13 collection of DELPOZO, with this line I start the following post.
The collection was presented for the first time at New York Fashion Week, with excellent reviews from the local and international press. At the end of the show we all had a huge smile on our faces. The venue (Canoe Studios) was magical, with the whole space invaded with natural light.
Josep Font it’s the creative director from the brand and so far he has presented two collections with great success. The brand was founded by the spanish designer Jesus del Pozo in 1974.
The collection from my point of view it’s beautiful, filled with contrasts and with breath taking esthetics “a contrast between architecture and the delicate femininity of the Victorian age” curved lines and exaggerated silhouettes... fantastic embroidery in golden tones, long chiffon gowns with vibrant colors, neons with neutrals. It was really beautiful to see one model after another just expecting the next piece to be even prettier.
When I have the chance to attend these type of shows, that are majestic, detailed oriented, with coherence, beauty and a fashion statement it’s when I remember how much I love fashion, I get excited just as a little girl.

Un sueño hecho realidad es la colección FW13 de DELPOZO, con esta línea comienzo este post.
La colección se presentó en el marco del Fashion Week Nueva York -por primera ocasión- con excelentes comentarios por parte de la prensa local e internacional. Todos los asistentes salimos con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja del show. La locación era hermosa (Canoe Studios), el espacio estaba invadido con luz natural.
Josep Font es el director creativo de la marca y hasta ahora ha presentado dos colecciones con gran éxito. La marca se fundó en 1974 por el diseñador español Jesus del Pozo.
La colección desde mi punto de vista es hermosa y llena de contrastes con una estética impresionante que de verdad quita el aliento “una mezcla entre arquitectura moderna y la delicadeza y feminidad de la época Victoriana”. Líneas curvas y siluetas exageradas... bordados de ensueño en tonos dorados, vestidos largos de chifón en tonos vibrantes, prendas neones mezcladas con tonos neutros (grandiosas). Era hermoso ver a una modelo tras otra desfilar, esperando cómo la pieza siguiente iba a ser más bella que la anterior.
Cuando tengo la oportunidad de asistir a este tipo de desfiles, que demuestran tanta magestuosidad, atención a los detalles, coherencia, belleza, propuesta y un sin fin de cualidades más es cuando recuerdo lo mucho que amo la moda, me emociono, como una niña pequeña.
Pude grabar el final del desfile desde mi asiento, espero que lo disfruten, tanto como yo lo hice.
