Backstage: Tibi Fall 2014

Tibi’s collection for ' Fall 2014 ' represents the intersection of the pastoral and the urban, the countryside and the city; garments are inspired by the natural beauty of the ‘rural scene’ and the path that takes you to the wonderful city where both concepts fail to bind to be able to represent a round collection were the materials of clothing (including shoes) are very consistent with the concept that Amy Smilovic (founder and creative director of the brand) aims to talk for the upcoming fall season.

Makeup was done by the Bobbi Brown team, and expresses the clean and natural feel of the country side with a  beautiful, illuminated and fresh skin, paired with natural eyes subtly  outlined (with Long Wear Gel Eyeliner Sepia Bobbi Brown) and vigorous dramatic rough lips with perfectly groomed and strong eyebrows. Obviously my favorite part of the beauty look were the lips, -Kim Soane- International Makeup Artist for Bobbi Brown used 'Port' color, which might look a little too dark on the tube and may even frighten more than one, the result is an incredible, dramatic, rich and colorful tone perfect for fall, winter and why not ... spring and summer, loved it! A tip Kim gave me backstage, is that to ensure your lipstick lasts longer, you should outline the lips with a similar tone and then fill in with the lipstick (you can use an special brush for a perfect result)

Love,

Gina

Pd . I loved the venue for this show, reason why I became insane and took millions of pictures, the light was beautiful and the scenery too: a sunny-wintry day...  hope you like them as much as I do!
