Visual Diary: Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014

Monique Lhuillier is synonymous for romance, femininity and drama led to an almost poetic level, assuming that each garment and it’s details represent the beautiful strophes of a verse.

For this collection the modern architectural details and Old World Parisian Couture, fuse to create a mysteriously provocative collection. To speak about Monique Lhuillier is to talk about a strong woman that never looses the fragility that makes her unattainable. The dresses were fluid but structured ‘...giving soft tulle a contemporary look with unexpected complements of abtract skeletal embroidery, patent leather belts cinching sleek silhouettes... ‘ The elegant embroidery and the fine leather details added an unexpected touch, modern elegance with a bit of neoprene and the required dose of lace, beautiful!

Soft and easy rolled vertical chignons were designed by Bob Recine -Master Stylist - for Moroccanoil, sophisticated, yet casual. A classic chignon, with an unexpected twist, that represents the essence of a sophisticated look but at the same time free, with texture and careless,to contrast the elegant and well-done clothes; ‘... like the reflection of moving water’ Recine added.

I think the words are useless , I leave you with the pictures I took .

With love,

Gina

Gina
