The Shoe Commandments
I frequently think about ‘interesting’ themes and ideas to write about on the blog, but due to my full schedule I don’t have that much ‘spare’ time to seat and properly write these 'special' posts... BTW one of my purposes for this year is to go through life with an small notebook were I can write down all the ideas and thoughts that come to my mind on critical and dramatic situations such as my -8pm- traffic jam situations: therefore I firmly intend to do this kind of posts more often (they challenge me, plus I really enjoy to write them) plus I’ve noticed that you -sort of- like (and use) the recommendations, suggestions and opinions I occasionally share here regarding clothing, smart shopping, beauty products, etc.. I will start with the ‘Shoe’ subject being one of my favorite topics... So I will share with you my -very personal- ‘ Shoe Commandments’ but please, if you find a relevant topic for the near future I will actually much appreciate your suggestions, so feel free to email or tweet me!
THE SHOE COMMANDMENTS
1. Thou shalt stay away from imitations and forgeries.
2. Thou shalt not underestimate the power of a five-inch heel.
3. Thou shalt not wear CROCS in vain.
4. Thou shalt clean, protect and honor your shoes.
5. Thou shalt respect the 'sale season' without committing unconscionable abuse.
6. Thou shalt accept your budget.
7. Thou shalt (honestly) praise your neighbor's shoes.
8. In desperation, sadness and grief thou shalt run for a new pair of shoes. (...and back to commandment number six).
9. Thou shalt not waddle.
10. Thou shalt invest in high quality footwear that it’s beneficial to your feet and posture (I always break this commandment, due to the -I don't care about comfort- theme)

De repente se me ocurren cosas interesantes para escribir de manera libre, pero por falta de tiempo no las llevo a la práctica (por cierto, uno de mis propósitos de año es andar por la vida con una libretita para apuntar lo que venga a mi mente en momentos críticos y dramáticos como a las 8 de la noche mientras estoy atorada en el tráfico); me propongo firmemente hacer este tipo de posts más seguido (son un reto y un gusto, la verdad) y noto que les gustan (y sirven) las recomendaciones, sugerencias y opiniones que de vez en cuando les comparto respecto a la ropa, las compras inteligentes, mis auto aprendizajes con ciertos productos de belleza, etc. Siendo los zapatos uno de mis temas favoritos empezaré compartiéndoles mis ‘Diez mandamientos’ referentes al tema, pero no os preocupéis pretendo abordar temas variados... De hecho, mucho agradeceré sus sugerencias.
Zapatos: Mis Diez Mandamientos
1. Te mantendrás alejada de las imitaciones y falsificaciones.
2. No subestimarás el poder de un tacón de doce centímetros.
3. No usarás CROCS en vano.
4. Cuidarás, limpiarás y protegerás tus zapatos.
5. Respetarás la temporada de rebajas sin cometer abusos desmedidos.
6. Aceptarás tu presupuesto.
7. Halagarás (sinceramente) el zapato ajeno.
8. En la desesperación, la tristeza y el desconsuelo correrás por un par nuevo de zapatos. (regreso al mandamiento número seis)
9. No chanclearás.
10. Invertirás en zapatos de buena calidad que sean benéficos para tus pies y tu postura (este siempre lo rompo por el tema de la comodidad, básicamente)

ResponderEliminarDe hecho yo siempre estoy cargando una libreta, es mi libreta de inspiraciones y donde puedo dibujar y escribir todo lo que se me hace interesante y sé que algún día utilizaré! Es lo mejor y más cuando te dedicas a la creatividad, necesitas de tu backup!
